Yes. We are Gas Safe registered, so all of our gas work meets the legal safety standards required in the UK. Every job is carried out by a qualified engineer, and you are welcome to ask to see identification.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, we are covered up to £5 million on liability insurance, so you have complete peace of mind whenever we are working in your home.

What are your opening hours?

Our standard hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 18:00. We also offer a 24 hour emergency call out, including out of hours and bank holidays, which comes at an additional cost.

How long does it take to complete a boiler installation?

Most boiler installations take between one and five working days depending on the boiler and the work involved. We give you a clear timeline as part of your quote so you can plan around it.

What warranty do we get?

You will get a manufacturer warranty with the boiler, and depending on the brand you choose the warranty length can range from one to twelve years. We register the warranty on your behalf.

How much does a new boiler cost?

A new boiler supplied and installed typically costs between £2,000 and £5,000. The exact price depends on the boiler you choose and the complexity of the work, and we confirm it with a fixed quote after surveying your home.

Do you remove the old boiler?

Yes. Removing and safely disposing of your old boiler is included as part of our installation service, so you do not need to arrange anything separately.

How long does a service take?

A typical service takes between 30 minutes and a couple of hours depending on the appliance and its condition.

How much is a boiler service?

Boiler servicing costs between £85 and £250 depending on the make and model. We confirm the price with you before we start.

How often should I service my boiler?

We recommend servicing your boiler once a year. Annual servicing keeps it running safely and efficiently and helps keep your manufacturer warranty valid.

Does the call out cover parts too?

Unfortunately no, the call out fee only covers your first hour of labour. The cost of any parts is an additional cost added on top, and we always quote this before carrying out the work.

What if you cannot fix my boiler?

In the rare case where a boiler cannot be repaired, we explain why, set out the cost of the visit to diagnose the fault, and talk you through the cost of a new boiler so you can decide what is best.

How much does a boiler repair cost?

Repairs typically range from £85 to £1,000 depending on the fault and the parts required. The call out covers your first hour of labour, with parts quoted separately.

Are you qualified to carry out other gas appliance services?

Yes, we are fully qualified in all domestic gas appliances on natural gas, including boilers, cookers, fires, hobs, water heaters and warm air units.

Will you check the chimney on a fire service?

Yes, we carry out all the necessary safety checks in accordance with gas regulations to make sure your chimney is safe and compliant with the current standards.

How much is a gas appliance service?

Servicing a gas appliance such as a fire or cooker costs between £85 and £150 depending on the appliance. We confirm the price before we start.

Do you work bank holidays and out of hours?

Yes, we work out of hours and bank holidays as part of our 24 hour emergency call out, but this does come at an extra cost over a standard daytime visit.

How much is an emergency call out?

Emergency call outs start from £150. The final cost depends on the time of the visit and the work required, and we are upfront about it before we attend.

How quickly can you attend?

Will I get a reminder yearly when this is due?

Yes, you would get a reminder around four weeks before your renewal is due, so you have plenty of time to book without any last-minute rush.

How much is a landlord gas safety certificate?

A landlord gas safety certificate (CP12) costs between £85 and £150 depending on the number of appliances in the property.

Why do I need a CP12?

If you let a property, you are legally required to have the gas appliances checked every year and to hold a valid gas safety certificate for the safety of your tenants. A CP12 is that certificate.

We carry out all aspects of domestic plumbing, from tap repairs and replacements to toilet repairs and replacements, and radiator fitting, repairs and upgrades.

We carry out system upgrades from standard radiator valves to thermostatic radiator valves, fitting smart heating controls such as Hive, resizing radiators, relocating boilers and much more.
